All the fridges I've seen do not have a freezer, sorry. But you could get lucky. The walk from South Trinidad to OPR some have said is about 5 to 7 minutes depending on the speed of your pace. Have a great trip.

Thanks for answering me so quickly. The freezer isn't a big deal, I just like to be prepared. I was thinking the walk to OPR was about 15 minutes so that's great! Thanks!

I'm down to single digits today:banana: Booked prefered room, what should I request? First floor with a 3 year old or would second be quieter? Is there any way to request a pretty view without paying for water? Thanks so much!

Does anyone know the order of how the buses come into the resort. Example..if the bus stops at the Trinidad and then goes around to South, then to Jamaica then to Aruba etc..then by the teim it gets to Barbadoes it could be full sometimes.

Or do the busses enter into wehre the Custom house is and then it goes to Barbadoes first and Aruba is last.

Just checking to see if I reqeust Aruba and Jamaica bldg would they be full by the time the bus comes.

Make sense?

First off, congrats on being in single digits. Wish I could say the same.

We have stayed both upstairs and downstairs and have never had a problem with noise. If you think it would be easier for your 3 year old, I'd request downstairs. In all honesty, I don't think there is a bad view from any of the rooms. Even if you are overlooking a parking lot, the shrubbery and trees block most of that view and it's still pretty.

14 days to go! woot!

Two questions - - -

#1 - Anyone have a list of the drinks at the CBR Pool Bar and Prices?
and
#2 - I noticed in some of the room pics that there are disposable coffee cups by the coffee makers. Are these stocked by mousekeeping? If so, do they have lids to take to the parks with you... if not, can you get them from the food court? I usually pack my own to use each day and toss once in the parks, but it would be nice to have one less thing to pack!

Thanks in advance.... soooo stinking excited! This is our first mod stay (always done values), and hence our first CBR stay. :)

Wow, and I mean Wow. The facilities all look so nice and clean. I want to go there sooo bad. Maybe I will be able to save up over the next year so that I can go because I would just have too much fun.

1) I don't think I've ever seen a menu of drinks at the pool bar on here, but I know that they have one. But I can tell you the Sour Apple Freeze (with alcohol) is fabulous!! Take it from 1st hand experience!!! And I'm looking forward to one soon!!!

2) I've never seen lids for them.

CBR here we come, I can't believe I'm finally at packing stage leaving in 3 days:cool1:14 days of Caribbean vacation and of course DDP diet. Thanks everyone for answering most of my questions, will be back with full details

We just got back from our Disney Trip and stayed at POFQ and loved it. So we are thinking of doing a moderate on our trip next summer and would love to get some Pro’s and Con’s about the Pirate rooms at CBR. I think my kids would love it and wonder if it is worth the extra money and the distance it seems to be from everything? We are planning for a late July if that makes any difference?

While I have never stayed in a pirate room, I did walk over to Trinidad South to take a look around. I timed my walk back to Old Port Royale just to see how long it was.... 6 1/2 minutes at a leisurely pace. I, personally, think that the walks at the CBR are over exaggerated.

I know that there have been several Disers who have posted pictures of the pirate rooms and their review of the rooms as well. Hopefully, they will chime in with their thoughts.
