Can DD9 play in the aqua play area? Is this right by the main pool?
thanks
thanks
My wife and I are planning our annual trip to WDW in November and CSR is listed as unavailable for the length of our stay. We're seriously considering CBR and I have a few quick questions -
1) For those who are familiar with Pepper Market at CSR, is the Food Court at CBR the same kind of deal?
2) How does a double size bed compare to a queen? I ask because that's what we have at home and when we stay in hotels we try to stick with the same.
3) Pirate rooms - are they worth an add'l $30/night? I ask, knowing that we'll be there for ten days.
4) For those who have stayed at both, what are your pros and cons for each?
Thank you for your help!

Yes, absolutely! It is right next to (but not connected to) the main pool. There are lots of pictures of the pools in my review -- the link is in my signature, if you want to take a look!
King bed rooms are sprinkled throughout the resort (except there are NONE in the Pirate rooms). If you booked a preferred location room, then you CAN'T guarantee yourself a king bed room. At CBR, preferred location means being in one of the 6 buildings closest to Old Port Royale.Hi.
Just booked a trip for June to go to Star Wars Weekend... kind of on a whim. Went with a moderate this time and we haven't stayed at a moderate since Dixie Landings, LOL.
We booked a preferred room because I'm worried about walking too far. It's just me and my 6 year old boy, so that's a concern for me. I'd really prefer a King bed room or a pirate room. Does anyone know if the king rooms are in a specific building or spread out around the resort? And how much longer the walk really is from a pirate room vs a preferred room (like the walk to coffee in the morning, LOL).
We've stayed at a lot of Disney resorts, but the size of this one and the transportation situation is overwhelming me a bit.
If you want to be close to the main pool and food court then book the preferred room. Some of the water view rooms are creative in the view of the water, you could also be overlooking a quiet pool.

There are height restrictions on that pool play area. My son was fine in there at age 8 but he is a small boy and didn't cause any issues. There were some older kids that came in there and did get removed. I would think she would be fine at age 9. The kids removed were probably around 12 or older.
I was wondering if you guys could help me with something..we are heading to CBR on May 8th and have never made a request for anything before. We have payed for a preffered room but would love a ground floor with the baby/stroller stuff. We also would love to stay in Martinique if possible. How on earth do I make a request? Do i have to call them directly ot what? Im clueless..can I make more than one request? Who and where do I send it? thanks.

My kids were 9 & 7 when we were there last. There were kids in the children's pool younger/smaller than them and kids that were older/larger too. We didn't have any issues. Of course it wasn't crowded at all and everyone was behaving themsleves!![]()
Oh, i went and checked out your pics and showed those to her also...she loved them and thanks for the trip report!
We did book a preferred room and requested Martinique but i want to request a specific bldg and i saw your post about faxing it in. I think i will give it a try.
Thanks everyone for all the info in this thread. We just booked our first WDW trip and chose CBR!
