Caribbean Beach FAQ Part IV

It would only take several minutes. If you are at the food court or pool you could also use the Old Port Royale bus stop.

I timed it and even the number of steps for someone once I will have to find that info.

We have the king bedroom booked (was cheaper !) Has anyone stayed in this type room ? All I've seen are floorplans and pictures with the double / queen beds. Just curious - not sure which area we'll be in either. Travel agent said we'd find out at check in.

Why would a King room be cheaper than a Standard? Usually King rooms are the same price as preferred, water view, or pirate rooms and are more expensive than standard rooms.:confused3

Used to the beds were raised but they are now on boxes. I think that means, you can't slide them over any more.
The mattresses may be movable, but the bed frame isn't. It's a shame too, that luggage storage space is gone now. :confused3

Personally, I think there's a little less space on the right of the bed as there is between the beds. :confused3

Mickey's Toontown...

How long was your walk to the bus stop, pool and dining from Martinique 26?

thanks

We used the Martinique bus stop just once in 9 days. The other times, we used the one at Old Port Royale. It took us maybe 2 minutes to get there. Maybe three to get to Old Port Royale and the main pool.

Needless to say...Martinique 26 sounds perfect to me.

We are leaving in 13 days for our first trip:banana: Needless to say we are all really excited. I changed our ressie from POR to CBR but now I'm trying to decide what to do next. I have read it's best to fax a request and seems that the top requests are for Aruba and Jamaica...so my questions are:

1. How do you go about making a request? What does it need to say etc.

2. It is DH, myself DD (3) and my niece (6) going where do you guys suggest requesting?

3. How much is it it to upgrade to preferred rooms and is it worth it?

Thanks so much!!

We visited the CBR for an hour in October. Here are a few pics.
