I think you could still call and add the request. I have no suggestion on where to request though since this will be our first trip. I am so glad you are in a pirate room, that is what we will have in August.

I just called CBR and they let me add 2nd floor building 35 to my request. There are no guarantees but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a great room.

We're at CBR now... We just LOVE this resort! I've taken a bunch of photos, most are probably similar to those already posted here but I'll get some up here once we get home.

Fyi, main pool is open 24/7 right now... Maybe that's old news?

And there IS a clothesline in the shower -- saw that question posted before we left.

Shuttles at the Old Port Royale isn't new restaurant in CBR! Reservations are needed to the Shuttles at the Old Port Royale in CBR!

Isn't it shutters and it isn't new. Technically you can make reservations, but most of the time you can get in without them.

Has anyone tried Shutters on a recent trip? I am wondering if it's any good? I have read some mixed reviews about it. I was thinking about making an ADR for our Aug trip. Thanks.

(Sorry if I duplicate post...blackberry is acting funny) Yes, we've been in the new pool a lot. Lots of people using it, but it never feels overcrowded.

I like the new long slide, but little kids like it as well. The 2 hot tubs are nice.

I took a lot of pictures of the pool, many at night. When I get home I will post any that are different from what's already been posted.

Everything -- everything! -- has been great!

Thanks - we are having a great time. One hot tub is behind the pool bar building, and the other is behind the new slide - opposite ends of the main pool area.

We ate there in March. I had the striploin steak and baked potato... to DIE for! Hubby had ribs. They were good, but the sauce was "meh". It was kind of spicy. We're used to a sweet sauce on our ribs. They were nice and tender, too. I'd eat there again most definitely.
