I am pretty certain that I saw several people with their refillable mugs at the pool. And there is a bar right next to the pool. . .

Do you know what ages kids can wear the life jackets from? I will have an 18mos old and didn't know if they have anything for her size.:confused3

I was over at CBR this morning. The smallest life jacket marked small said 21-23 inches.

Does the Caribbean Beach has Caribbean Music in the loud speakers!:confused3

I remember walking over to OPR on the bridge they had Caribbean music piped in. And at the bar I believe they did. I can't remember if they did at the bus stops though.

Unless something has changed very recently, there is no music at the bus stops. Only ceiling fans.

Sorry if this has already been asked/answered:goodvibes
As of now are all the rooms at the resort renovated?

Yes. Not sure all the rooms in Trinidad South have been converted to pirate rooms though.

Thanks safetymom. Now I wonder if the 21-23 inches means height or chest size? I would think chest size, because only newborns-@6mos old are that height!

When you fit a child with a life jacket you want to be more aware of the weight limitations than the length. The 21-23 should refer to the shoulder to waist. If you look closely at the picture it shows the weight. I can't tell the bottom end of the pounds but the top is 50lbs. You can see that it is 14 to 25kg. I am sure there is a conversion tool somewhere that can give you the 14kg to lbs. You need to make sure your child falls into that range. Too little and they can slip out or be choked and too heavy well enough said.

I hope this helps.

I don't want to take my laptop or pay for internet connection while staying at CBR. Is there a place at CBR where I can check e-mails and my checking account every couple of days? If so, do they charge to do it and is it safe to check my online banking?

How much does it cost to do laundry at CBR?

Can you see any fireworks from the beach area?

:flower3: TIA!

I don't know if there is any public place at the CBR to check your emails. I certainly have never seen one. I would imagine that Safetymom will know an exact answer to that question.

I also can't answer the laundry question because I refuse to do laundry on vacation. I do too much of it at home.:rotfl:

You can see the higher Epcot fireworks from several of the beaches on the resort. We have watched them from Martinique beach and the Jamaica beach. We have also watched them from Old Port Royale.

We will be staying at CBR in Oct and this will be our first time there. The only rooms they had available were the king rooms. After looking at several pics, of the king rooms they all look like accessible rooms. Can someone tell me if they have king rooms that are not accessible? Are there king rooms in all buildings?

Hello All! Me, my wife and two daughters (5 and 7) will be travelling to Disney World and staying at the CBR on August 26 - Sept 2. This will be our first trip to Disney World as a family. We are very excited! We are also excited to be staying at the CBR!

Now I have booked our trip, but I was wondering if it was worth calling ahead to see if I can try and get a room in a certain area within CBR? Can this be done? Have others tried calling ahead and had success? I have signed up for a Standard view room.

My girls are soooo excited after seeing pictures of the pool. I would love to stay in an area close to the main pirate pool, a bus stop, food, beach access and a good view of the Illuminations fireworks. Am I missing anything? Hah! Now this may sound like alot but I figured it would be worth asking here since you all seem very helpful. I look forward to any and all of your suggestions.

Also, please let me know of any good tips you might have for CBR Noobies!

Thanks for your time!

We have stayed at CBR twice. Once being on our very first trip to WDW. CBR has a lot to do with why we fell in love with Disney!! :lovestruc

We only book standard rooms. I would request to be in either Jamaica or Aruba, we have stayed in both sections and they are great standard locations. Less than a 5 minute walk to OPR and to a bus stop.

Here is my review from our most recent stay. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2074555 Hope it helps give you a feel for the resort. We absolutely love the tropical and relaxing atmosphere of the resort. And the new pools are the best!!! :cool1: Have a great trip!
