Caribbean Beach and Uber

Good morning. I am staying at Caribbean Beach and plan on trying Uber for the first time ever (I'm such a "scaredy" cat of it for some reason). Where exactly do I need to be for an Uber driver to pick up at CBR? Can I be at my building, or do I need to go to Port Royal...or Customs House?

We stayed at Coronado last month and used Uber several times (was our first time also - loved it). Each time, we had to be in front of the main building for pick up as they were not allowed to drive around the different buildings. Same was true when we called for one at the Beach Club and Yacht Club, had to wait outside the front lobby. Would imagine it should be the same for CBR.

We took Uber somewhere right after checking in, and it was so easy. In fact, he had just dropped someone off and was literally sitting right in front of us at the Custom House. There is an internal bus that can take you to the Custom House from your area of the resort.

Custom House. I Uber'd from there in June.

I've gone from Old Port Royale a couple of times.

We were picked up at Old Port Royale. We made a grocery/liquor run. But on return we had him drop us off right in front of our building. We were apprehensive at first, too. But for us it was so easy. Plus, our driver was so courteous and nice.
