Career Start Program

I guess I am a little confused. I went on the career start website yesterday and watched the video, and they said I would be applying for the Spring 2011which is exactly what I want.

My questions are:

-Once the papers are faxed about how long until they schedule a phone interview?

- Also on the bottom of the four sheets it says to make sure to include the short response form, but I couldn't find that anywhere on the website, could that possibly be an old form?

-For what I submitted the application for will be the 7 month stay, when does that begin? In January?

-Will I find out more information after the telephone interview? Because there wasn't a whole lot on the website other than the video.

1.in order to get the phone interview you must pass the web interview.. it should come shortly after you fax in your papers. after you pass then you call to schedule your phone interview

2. you dont need the short response form. or the letter of recommendation!

3. I believe spring advantage would begin in late jan, early feb.

4. you can research info you want. there was a huge post on here all about the CS program. you can ask your interviewer any questions you have also.

Another question I have, are you automatically defaulted to the Spring/Spring Advantage program? What are the main differences?

It does appear that only Spring Advantage is being offered for 2011 for Career Start. I don't see a Spring program on the website right now, only Spring Advantage so I would assume it is for that program.

Yes, it is the longer program...around 7 months. I have no idea of exactly when it will start, I only know that if it follows the same as the Fall Program, all Career Start participants will have the same start-end date and possibly all of them will be put at Vista Way like this current group was.

My interviewer asked me if I wanted Spring, or Spring advantage. So i think they are doing both for 2011. Everyone else I talked to go that option to choose as well!

disneyworldluvr349- yes the spring advantage is 7 months long, compared to the 5 for just the spring. which is the only difference

Ok thanks so much. Apparently there has been a bit of a set back in my process. I had my phone interview scheduled for today, but they couldn't find me in the system. I guess I had put my name in the wrong order, so I had to reschedule it for Sunday as that was the earliest date available, so I am a little bummed. But hopefully everything will go smoothly on Sunday.
