Hi We are flying in at 10am Sunday morning to Long Beach anyone know if there is a shuttle that goe to GC from there. Right Now we have a car reserved for just a little under 200 I am wondering if there is a cheaper way for the 4 of us to get to DL Which then we would be needing roundtrip any Suggestions?? Thanks;) ;)

A cab to the GC will run you about $40 including tip. You will have to negotiate a flat rate for the return trip, though. Otherwise they will charge mileage, and it can run as much as $60. Still, the cost probably beats your rental or a shuttle because they charge per person.

We rented a car for 5 days though costco.com under the travel section the total cost incl tax & 1 additional driver (at no additional cost) $58.00 we are also arriving at Long Beach. So check it out I know you can get a great deal.

Have a great trip:yay:

What rental company car did you chooose? what size of car? thanks so much for the info

Thanks for you advice I did look and I did find it 40 dollars cheaper for 155.99 but still nowhere near the 58 like you so you really got an awesome deal we are going the 24-29th of June I will keep looking though who knows maybe it will even get chaper thanks again!!

We'll be there May 24th-28th

I will keep my eye out for your dates:thumbsup2 I love looking for deals for other people too :yay: I should have been a travel agent :)

I find a better deal I will PM you

The higher rates are because it is weekdays vs weekends. Week end car rentals are super cheap. You could reserved a private super shuttle for $79 each way or a shared super shuttle for about $60 each way. A cab, as danger said, would be cheaper. As your date gets closer you might be able to use Alamo's hot super saver rates. They come out about a week before you travel. I've had some great rates using that.

The drive from long beach is super easy. Its one road straight from the airport to the back side of Disneyland. Takes about 30-35 min.

Thanks to everyone who responded to me and I appreciate all the good advice and help and look forward to hearing from you if you find a cheaper rate for meThanks!!!

You might also want to check on hotwire.com. I plugged in your dates and came up with a rate of about $140 for a full size car. Not sure what you are looking for, but it might be worth a look. Good luck and have a great trip!
