I didnt' know we either had to pay for Disney transp. to pick us up or have a car pick us up from WDW to the port. Our old t.a told us it was included. So I just emailed our new t.a and she said that we do need to get transportation. So now I'm looking at getting transportation on 3 legs. From the airport to WDW...WDW to the port..from the port to the airport.

I guess the advantage is that we can have the car pick us up earlier than Disney would have. So is this true that I do indeed need to get a car from WDW to the port?
We still need to decide which one to use. It sounds like they're all pretty good.

Check on the Cruise board. When we did the cruise several years ago, the bus transport was included but we had purchased the land and sea package.

You have your choice of purchasing the transfers via Disney or arranging your own transportation. Many T.A.s quote automatically with the bus service, so you have to specify that you don't want it or ask to have it removed if you want to make your own arrangements. We have done 32 (will be 33 after this weekend) Disney cruises, and we used to take the bus. Now we have switched to Happy Limo because we fly in the night before and like to be able to leave as early as we want. Even when you are staying at a Disney resort, the bus times tend to be late. I definitely prefer a towncar.

If you are not doing land/sea where you are already checked into the boat consider this... On bus to boat you are with a whole bus load to check-in. With car you can hopefully arrive before a bus load and not have such a wait to check-in. Just something to think about. I did the airport to hotel, to airport to drop hubby off and then on to port with a town car and it went just great!!

We are doing the land/sea pkg. I think we're just doing a town car service. This way we can stop at the store....leave to the ship earlier than we would if taking the bus...and just take it back to the airport.
We have to handle our own luggage, that's the only bad thing.
It's cheaper too.

thanks all!
