do they have car seats islands on western or do we bring them. we wan't to go to beach and the turtel farm. we have 1year old and 3 year old

We went on the Western last fall with our sons 2 and 5. As far as I can remember I didn't see any car seats being offered in the transportation to/from the excursions. We booked all of our excursions through DCL. I think you would have to bring your own.

I asked a similar question on this board and learned that most of the taxis, etc. on GC and Coz. don't even have seat belts, let alone car seats. Therefore, bringing car seats may not help if you are doing excursions on your own. You will probably have more success with Disney's excursions, which I assume use buses with seat belts though it may be difficult to secure a car seat in one of those bus seats. I'd suggest contacting Disney directly. Good luck and have fun!

The taxi drivers on those islands drive very crazy on those windy roads. We opted to rent a car on St. Thomas and bring our own car seat, so that we knew our kids would be as protected as we could make it. We stopped at a store and bought snacks and then went to the beach on St. thomas. For our family of 5 it was also economical becuase the taxis were expensive for all 5 of us.

We will be bringing car seats (because we're going to use them on flight to FL) and are concerned about storage. Does anyone know of options for storage of car seats either at the port or onboard (other than taking up valuable space in stateroom)?
