What is your best car rental deal? We leave September 16th for 7 days and with all I have been hearing about bus waits, with two little ones to cart, I am starting to think about a rental. Thoughts? Thanks.

two weeks ago I rented a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo for $ 200 tax incl from Thrifty for 8 days, it was a great vehicle..... This was the cheapest at the time, everyone else wanted nearly 400 for a SUV type....

I am killing time while voting on Canadian Idol )Go Theo!), so checked Costco for you. I got $88.44 for a week for a mid-size. If you are a Costco member, google Costco Travel, then under car rentals choose Alamo, and then the 5 day discount.

There are tons of other disocounts around. Orlando is a bargain for car rentals.

With Alamo you can get an Economy Car using Contract ID# 430710 and coupon Code #AD6974JDM for $73 (incl taxes and fees) for 1 week.
( a Compact is about $3 more and a Mid Size about $15)

I found a great rate for our upcoming trip this Nov. I honestly think it was a typo on Dollar's web site. Premiuim car (Chrysler 300 or similar) for get this......$19.00 per week!!!!:scared1:  Total charge including taxes fees etc are $41.19 for everything!!!!!:thumbsup2

I actually phoned them too, for a confirmation and those same rates are what the rep quoted to me, so I think we got a great deal!!! We really like Dollar and have rented our cars from them many times.:)
