car rentals in philly area

Does anyone know of a car rental place with the cheapest prices in the Philly, South Jersey area? I need a week long rental for the end of December and I don't want to pay the prices that I'm getting. Any suggestions?

Well, hate to tell you this, but Philly is an expensive town.. with high rates. South Jersey is bad as well due to the highest car insurance rates in the US!

I would scrounge around for car rental rate codes. Look at the companies website (look for internet only deals), or check for codes or specials in other means (ie Entertainment book, AAA, that type of thing)

You may want to check the car rental companies that operate out of Philadelphia Airport. When we needed to rent a car for a week, the Airport companies were the cheapest. You would have to pick up and drop off the car at the airport is the only drawback found.
