Car rental

Does anyone know if there is a car rental desk at RPH? I think I read here somewhere that there was one at HRH. And does anyone know how much it would be to rent a car for 1 day, to drive to KSC and back? I'm obsessed with finding a way to NASA!!

I have been told that the Hertz number @ RPH is (407) 503-3166. I'd be interested in what kind of rate you get. Good Luck!

I called Hertz and they said right now it's $55 for the day for a mid-size , less than I expected. But I need it for July 2000 and they said they expect the rate to go up slightly at that time. BUt it still sounds great to me.
I also looked around on other boards and someone said that Mears is $19 per person from Universal to KSC, but only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I'll call YouRide just to have something to compare, but now I see that going on a day trip to NASA is definitely within my budget!
