I'm not sure this is where to post this but since we are staying at OKW thought I would start here. We need to rent a rental car while we are at OKW. We only need the car for 2 days of our 12 day vacation. We were wondering if anyone knows of a company that drops the car off at OKW and picks it up when done. That way we don't have to taxi over to a pick-up or taxi back. My husband thought he read that you can rent cars over at the Swan or Dolphin. That would work too if they allow someone to rent one that is not stayng there. Thanks for your help.

Alamo is at the Dolphin and although they don't drop off and pick up the cars they will pick you up if you set a time and place. We just go there and get the car when we are there at OKW or SSR. There are some good discount rates if you look on the mousesavers website also. We have also used Dollar which is in the hotel that was the Grosvenor but may be some other name now. It is an easy walk from the DTD marketplace bus stop. They both have limited hours so you need to plan accordingly. There is also Budget at the Doubletree hotel on hotel plaza Blvd and alamo is also at the car care center at Disney. They all offer pick up at your hotel.

I believe National has three locations in the Disney area. One at the Dophin, one at the car care center and on at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel.

You can pick up and drop off Alamo cars at the Buena Vista Palace.

Our last trip we stayed in a DtD hotel for 1 night and then checked into SSR. We picked up an Alamo car at the airport for a 1 day rental. After getting groceries and checking into SSR we returned it to the Buena Vista Palace. It was easy enough to walk back to our room at SSR from Buena Vista Palace. For OKW, you'd probably want to go to DtD and catch a bus back to OKW there. As others have mentioned, there are rental facilities at other hotels as well, such as the Dolphin.

In addition to National/Alamo, just about all the major car rental companies have locations on Disney property. I know that Avis (which is located at the Hilton) will send a courtesy shuttle to get you at your resort.

We use Budget, They are located in the Doubletree Hotel right near the Hilton and DTD. They pick you up from your hotel and then you can rent the car and return it and they will drop you off too.
