Enterprise and Alamo are the same company ....

enterprise took over alamo and national earlier this year

enterprise rents out of the old Alamo offsite property at orlando airport

I've got Alamo midsize for 7 days for $82.22 using the walmart code and a $25.00 off coupon.

Look down a few posts about alamo rates down for January for all the codes.

Are these rates with or without all the taxes and surcharges??

I have a 5 day midsize for $69.28 and that's WITH all the taxes and such. When I first made my reservation 2 months back it was $190..

Use Walmart code 430710 (adds a free extra driver) and Alamo ecoupon AD3829MRB for $25 off..I also called 1-800-go alamo after I had a really good rate online and they told me they could beat the online price...I originally had it for $76.

You've got to love a company that's so competitive it beats its OWN rates!!!

We're renting a midsize for ten days starting Nov. 26th. Our rates through Alamo fell to $105.00 for all ten days including taxes and fees. That's $10.50 a day......way to go Alamo.com!!! :cool1:   :yay: :dance3: :) :cool1: :cheer2: Oh, in case anyone is interested in the details. I used the Amex 15% off for using their card (code is 7013604) and the ad3829mrb as my second code. Gotta try their 800 Go Alamo number now to see if we could possibly fall below $100.00. If not, I'm TOTALLY happy with my rate.

WOW ... we used both those codes and are getting a mid-size for 8 days towards the end of January for $101 with all taxes

I just plugged in my dates 1/4 thru 1/11 using an offer from Mousesavers and got $99.92 total from Alamo. I already have $137.52 from National using Emerald Club with EA service ..... which we love since we claim our bags and head right to the garage and jump in a car on the EA and we're on our way. However, that extra $37 does sound nice.........although DH swore he would never wait in line again after an experience with Alamo about 4 yrs ago......he waited for 1 1/2 hrs in line!! Knowing him he'll point out $37 divided by 90 minutes isn't worth it!!!

Just use the self service kiosk, eliminates the wait in line!

I checked this morning on National website and my dates are now $102.80 total vs. the $137.52 I got last week. However, a problem with the National EC website will not take the new reservation......called their customer service and the phone price was over $200.....when I explained the problem with the website she said "Yes we're aware of it, but, I can't give you the web price over the phone. Hopefully, the web price will still be available tomorrow when you can speak with someone from EC." Just sent National EC customer service an email about the problem.......we'll see how their customer service is and if I'm able to get the $102.80 price even if it's not available tomorrow.............

Estimated Total $96.74 midsize

My $82.00 with Alamo is pickup at MCO and dropoff at the Car Care Center. If I drop of at the CCC with national its $180.00 vs $96.00 dropping off at MCO.

I need to check the carseat at the RAC so I don't want to lug it back to the airport in the rental car. I guess it's still Alamo for me.

Wow, I'm so glad I checked the boards one last time - we leave tomorrow and are flying to Tampa, but with this new e-couon, I just lowered our rate with Alamo from $188 (which I was not unhappy about) to $108! Incredible! :cool1:

Whhhoooooohoooooo. $107 for a midsize for 9 days!!!!! That is nuts!!!!

Does anyone know how good the kiosk is? We have had 2 bad experiences renting cars and were planning on using ME this time. But, for $100 I can't pass up the convenience of a car. Our bad experiences were not the car exactly, but the first time we rented offsite and had to drag our 900 bags, kids and large carseats on and off the bus. Second time we rented from somewhere at the airport (can't remember where) and my husband was in line for almost an hour waiting to get the car. ugh. The kids were going nuts!!!

We've used the kiosk the last 2 times we've rented from Alamo and in less than 5 minutes had our paperwork in hand. :cool1:

The last time (this past October), I went to get our paperwork while my DH waited for our luggage. I had our paperwork in hand and was back at the luggage carousel before the luggage even started coming. :thumbsup2

My rate from Alamo for a full size car for 12/8-12/16 is 124.25 (including taxes/fees) using the WalMart code and the $25 off coupon code, both mentioned previously on this thread. That WalMart Code also gives you a free driver.

I don't think it's going to get any lower than that!
