Car Rental @ the Sanford/Orlando Airport

WE are planning on flying into SFB for our trip in September. In researching car rental rates, I've discovered that they are much higher than at MCO.( many of the companies do not seem to honor discount rates @ this airport) Does anyone have suggestions for saving $$? Thanks.

I'm in the same dilemma you are. I am actually trying to help my aunt and her family flying into Sanford Airport. I did manage to find this website. The prices seem to be the best so far. Let me know if you find anything better. I hope this helps.

I rented from National at SFB. Just for one way (40.99 intermediate) dropped it off at the Dolphin and did the reverse our last day. Total rental car was $91.55 and that was w/gas

We've flown into SFB twice and both times rented minivans from Dollar for $199.00 week. We like this airport much better than MCO. It's much smaller and easier for our family of 5 to get around. We got a code from www.mousesavers.com which saved us a considerable amount of money.

We also love SFB!! Have used codes from mousesavers.com and car rental has always been lower than at MCO.
