Car rental ?'s

We are going down in March 2012 and renting a car from the MCO for just 3 days then I would like to return it to one of the drop off areas at WDW.

Does anyone recommend one rental company over another? We are staying at ASMo.

Also, I want to go with the lowest cost, we are a family of 4 (myself, dh, 17 yr dd, and 8yr old dd) We will each have a case as well as a carry on.

Which car that the agencies carry have the largest trunk space? I drive a mini van so I haven't seen a trunk in years!! The trip to the hotel might be a bit cramped, but for the rest of the time the luggage won't be on board.

Should I join one of their loyalty clubs? Would it even make a differance since it will be the 1st time I use it when we go?

Well I know Alamo / National have places on site at swan & dolphin and also they are at the car center. I prefer Alamo or national because you get to pick out your own car.

Typical rule of thumb has been rates if they do drop will drop closer to your travel date aka about 2 weeks.
