Car Rental return at the world?

HELP! My kids and I will be flying from IL to Ft. Lauderdale in June. When we are done there we are going to rent a car to drive up to WDW for a week, and then take the Magical Express to MCO and fly home.

We will be staying at Old Key West. What company will be easiest to use for this situation? Closest to a resort or DTD? Is there a company that will pick it up at the resort?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as we have never rented a car at WDW. We only want the car for the drive up, and would like to return it as soon as arriving. Thanks in advance

Try National or alamo. We have used them & they have an office at the LBV Palace which is right by DTD. theb you could take the boat back to OKW.

Is there a company that will pick it up at the resort?

No. Car rental companies will not dispatch two people to pick up your rental car at your resort.

However, there are a bunch of car rental locations near your resort that will take you back to your resort after you return the car at the rental office.

National has picked us up at WL before. We rented thru the Car Care center location.
