Has anyone used MS to book a rental car? I'm comparing rates for National (with Disney Club discount) and Dollar, and was wondering if I should see if MS can do better than what I've found.

We have used MS in the past for auto rental. For the past few years, however, we have been able to secure better rates on our own.

I can tell you that the Disney Club discount is the best you can do with National. You can beat National's rate with various discount codes through Dollar. We've used both National and Dollar with comparable service.

It all depends on when you are going, last year we went at the exact same time and rented a compact car from national w/ a coupon and DC contract code and our total was 141.00 including taxes for 8 days, this year its way more expensive so we went with Dollar, for 195.00 including taxes using FISH code

Spend an hour or so surfing the various car rental sites serving Orlando. You will do better than MS. As Lew says, www.mousesavers.com has a comprehensive listing of all providers and usually has a couple of coupon numbers to get even a better rate. Revisit the sites, every month or so – deals and rates tend to shift.

Definitely check Mousesavers for codes. I am getting a great rate for a van with Dollar using a code from Mousesavers. I tried all the other discounts, BJ's, AAA, AARP, etc., etc. and got the best one with Dollar and the Mousesavers code.

Thanks for your help! We always used to use the Mears shuttle between the airport and WDW, but now that we have two small children, we thought it would be best to rent a car. I'm going to check out Mousesavers right away. Thanks again!

I just wanted to say thank you again! I checked out Mousesavers, and with the FISH code for Dollar, got a minivan for literally hundreds less than National with DC discount. I just keep learning so much from these boards. Thanks!!
