I'll be renting a Car from Terminal A and Returning it to Terminal C.

Is that allowed?

I'll be getting on the Brightline

TIA

I can speak for Budget, since that's what I always use when traveling to MCO...have never had an issue returning to a different terminal.

I wouldn't expect it to be a problem since they probably have workers whose sole job is drive the cars between the terminals.

I had a rental class Enterprise out of at Terminal C so they offered to bring one over from AB for me. I’m pretty sure it’s treated like one big site at MCO, just with secondary counter / staff / location.

This is correct. They may ask just for planning purposes but all three terminals are considered the same location for rental purposes.

I would assume this is permitted. Someone might be arriving on a different airline compared to the one used for departure which might involve using a different terminal.

This situation might be one reason they’re planning a single car rental location like many other airports have.

You're totally fine MCO treats all three terminals as the same rental location so you can pick up at A and drop at C without any issues. I've done the rental thing plenty of times and it works great if you're planning to hit up Target or Publix for snacks. But lately I've been booking airport car service instead just for an experience and honestly I find it way less stressful yet expensive.... both options are solid though really depends on what kind of trip you're planning and how much driving you want to do!

MCO has decided not to go forward with the single car rental location.
Yes, when looking for the announcement that they planned it, I found the announcement that they had changed their minds! I must say that although I’d accept a centralized location, I do really like being able to just walk across the street with my bags, instead of catching a shuttle.
