Car Rental for One Day

We are flying down and plan to use Magical Express to get to our resort. We were thinking of renting a car for one day to go shopping and do other things off park. Has anyone ever rented a car for one day? Any good deals out there for one day. Also, what comapnies will pick us up to rent a car? I know that someone had also mentioned that there is a car rental company on park somewhere. Where is it and how do we get there? Thanks!

We have done three day rentals through Priceline, but always at the airport. National (or possibly Alamo...they're the same now) is on WDW property; you may want to look at Priceline and see if they have Lake Buena Vista or Downtown Disney listed as an area.
