hi all, need to know what car rentals are in the airport and which ones are the easiest to get to. also how do u get to the car rentals after arriving. thanks all for helping me

Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, National, & L&M are all at the airport. After you get your luggage at baggage claim you go down 1 level to the car rental area. All of the car companies are down here and they are all close together. After you go to the rental desk you exit outside and cross the street to the parking garage. All of the rental companies cars are here. Just follow the signs to the company you are using.

is this very long walk, i will have 3 kids w/me plus all the luggage. is it very difficult to get around or it just sounds like alot but is really not that bad?

it's not too bad. you can take the elevator down stairs. the longest walk is to the garage across the street, which I don't think isthat bad, maybe acouple minutes. There is an escalator there but not sure about an elevator.

It can be a hike depending upon which airline you are using. Some baggage claims are further than others.

You can always get a skycap to help with the luggage. MCO used to have luggage carts for rent for a few dollars. They are somewhat like shopping carts, but designed to hold luggage.

Pack as lightly as you can.

If you want to save a little time. Dollar, Alamo and National have express kiosks in the garages. You can skip the lines in the terminals and head right out to the garage to pick up your car. Just go to their websites and sign up for their "express" service, each company calls it something different. We used Alamo's Quicksilvr last trip and we're using Dollar Express this trip.

Budget also has an express kiosk in the garage if you join their Fastbreak club for free. They are right across from the Southwest baggage claim area and next to Dollar.

I am not sure how old your kids are, but my DH and I have struggled juggling all of our luggage, car seats and carry ons to get to the car rental desks. We have four kids now, but it was difficult even when there were only three kids. I highly suggest that carry on luggage is in the form of a backpack so that you have your hands free to cart kids and luggage around the airport. On our last trip I insisted that we pay someone to help us with our luggage. It is hard trying to maneuver everything. I am not trying to scare you, just prepare you. Even though I have used off site car rental companies before, I suggest you use one of the on site ones. If you go to to the official website for Orlando International Airport, you will find a link for terminal maps and you can see where each airlines baggage claim is in relation to the car rental companies.
