Thanks, Encinc. I checked National last night and using my Mastercard I could get 20% off plus $30 off weekly rental. Contract ID 5009781 and coupon ND3ZZ9ZDA, which are good through 12/31.Early December renters, check your National/Alamo rates.
Try contract ID 5760339. I have no idea who this is for. I got it on here a few years back. We have used it everytime with no issues. It always seems to give us the best rate.
Ok, so we don't need a minivan or SUV, we'll take anything and a compact is fine with us. But I can't get my 8 day rental lower than $315. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.
That is the Carlstrom Travel code. That is an open code for all to use. No membership needed. Works pretty well iN Dec .
thanks for this code and info! saved me $27 and used $35 off coupon for 10 days 191 with tax...just for clarification to get the emerald isle i jsut have to book a midsize right??? i am a member but never used it yet...thanks

Thank you SO MUCH for this code. I have been looking for a car for our upcoming trip into Fort Myers and out of Orlando. I started in early September with a cost of $330, but with using this code, I'm now down to $207. YAHOO!!
Of course, I'll keep searching right until we go, but this savings of $123 thus far is AWESOME!!
YAHOO !!!!!!!!!!
I have been checking also. The cheapeast I am getting from Nov 26 (1230PM) to Dec 4th (330PM) is $206.00 taxes included. Without this code...it is at least $245+.
Another code to try is #5004625. I think its a Georgia code. This sometimes is good for 1 or 2 days rentals. Something like $33 to $45 a day.
We like to use this code because its cheaper just getting a rental vs. a cab then we can make our "booze" stop and then we return the car to the Dolphin the next day.
Hope this helps.

You know....I'm just trying to have a real life guys. I leave the computer for half a day and you all go rogue on me. Not nice kids.
In any case....I have said it before and I obviously have to say it again.
Be sure you know, beforehand, whether or not you qualify for a code/pin. You do NOT want to get to the checkout area after renting your car for a week only to find that the code you found here is only good for Alaskan pygmies. It is going to cost you a ton of money.
Now...I realize that there are people who post every code they find and tell you that they are good for anyone. Do your homework first. Then, if you find that you are actually entitled to use it, go for it. But not every code is good for every renter.
And believe me, the car rental companies catch on when they finally realize that non-entitled renters have been using those codes. They shut down that code so fast your head would spin. And those following behind won't know that the code is no longer good for them. They heard that it's good here, so figure it's going to work for them. And they get a huge shock at the rental counter.
So...buyer beware. Be sure you are using a code that is good for you.
And I don't want to see anymore of that nastiness here. Those with fewer posts to their names are just as qualified to speak to an issue as those with thousands of posts.
I agree with everything azdizzymom said and I have been posting on the DIS a lot longer than you. Are you going to be equally condescending to me?
Go ahead and use the GA code, but don't come whining back here when you are caught using a code that you are not eligible for and are required to pay full price.
Normally, I would delete this kind of post. BUT...I'm leaving it here to illustrate what I meant in my previous post. It shouldn't matter one iota to anyone how many posts someone has. We don't need 'post police' here. As I already said.....your opinion counts (as long as it's stated politely) whether you have 3 posts or 33,000 posts. Period. My response was to AZDIZZYWHOEVER and not to you. So there was no need to rack up your post totals with this post. Maybe I can now see why you posts are over 22,000. If I had responded to you, then I would have expected your reply.
I dont get involved in other peoples disagreements.
I guess.."birds of a feather really do flock together".
