We are leaving in 10 days but not yet finalized with car rental. I want your advise on our scenario.
We will definitely need a mini-van (4 adults, 2 kids). I used to rent from National because as a Emerald Club member, I can skip the counter and pick my desired vehicle in the parking lot - that was a breeze!
However, this time DW decided NOT to bring our own infant car seat, thus I need to rent one from National. How does this work? I assume I will have to queue up in the counter, but what's next after I picked up my car seat? Will someone bring up my vehicle, or I still can pick my desired one?
Also, I saw good deals with hotwire.com - but I will not have the optional to add car seat. Do I have to request car seat over the counter? What if they don't have one for me? I will be screwed
