Car Rental at Disney Resorts

What car rental can we get to easily from WDW resorts, (either AKL or Bay Lake Towers). Also, would want to keep the car and drop at Port for Disney Cruise.

There are two Alamo rental centers on Disney property. One is at the Swan hotel and the other is at the Car Care Center next to the WDW Speedway. You can get to both by cab, but you can also get to the Swan using Disney transportation. I don't know if Alamo has a center at or near the cruise terminal. If you're going directly to the airport after you disembark the ship you might be better off taking the Disney bus from your resort to the terminal for the start of your cruise, then from the terminal to the airport when your cruise ends.

Thanks for the tip on Alamo. We were going to use Disney Transport both ways. But, now you can't pick the time to leave WDW for the Port. So, I'm just taking Disney Transport from Port to Airport at end of cruise. Need to do either rental car or car service to cruise. We might need it the day before for "that other park" anyway, so thought that might work the cheapest.

We always use Budget at the Doubletree (downtown Disney area). They will pick you up at your Disney resort and I'm pretty sure there is a Budget by the cruise terminal as well.

Avis is located in the Hilton and will send a courtesy car to pick you up at your hotel.

If you use Alamo, they provide complimentary transportation to and from anyplace on Disney property. The transportation is pretty quick and convenient, too! We rented a car for one day while staying at WL in Jan. We just called to schedule a pickup and they came very promptly.
