:D I'll be renting a car for the week of March 21st. I need it to visit relatives who live in the area. My question is, would it be better to park the car at the CBR and take the bus and other means of transportation to the parks or to drive to them? Are there any parks that are easier to drive to than others and is there a fee to park? Thanks !!:hyper:

Since you are staying on property there is no fee to park at any of the parks. Just make sure to have your resort parking pass with you. We always drive to the parks with the exception of the MK. There you park and then have to take the monorail/boat. I find it is easier to just take the bus. Hope this helps.

Just another opinion, but I always found it more convienent to drive; it allowed us to stay as late as possible at any park, without having the cattle rush onto the busses or monorail. After spending a whole day packed in with everone else in the park, any time I could break free form the crowd and not have to worry about standing, getting in line again, etc. was a bonus. Also, we always paked a styrofoam cooler in the car, adn you could have cold drinks and snacks for the ride home.

I am another fan of driving while at WDW. We would park at Epcot and take the monorail to MK.

You'll get lots of opinions on this one!!
We have a car and always drive everywhere we go at WDW.
NOt that the bus service is bad--actually, it's quite good. But we like the freedom of coming/going as we please, and being able to go places on a whim. PLus just the thought of having to stand on a crowded bus after a day at the MK just dosen't appeal--.

PS--we traded in our "whim" for a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe:) :bounce:

....And I plan on using it to go EVERYWHERE!!!! I'm one who likes to drive and not nervous about driving in strange places. The only time I will take Disney buses is if I plan to indulge in a few beers!!!

I always rent a car while at WDW. I can't imagine being there without a car. I find it very easy to get around and I like the flexibility a car gives us.

What about driving from resort to resort? We made a P.S. for Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness but are planning to go from MK to get there. I believe that is by boat. Driving to MK can be a hassle but I don't know how complicated it will be to get back from FW to CBR. Thanks.... Michelle
