My parents are (finally) putting my car into my name this April when I turn 19.
I know my insurance will go up (I only have to give them about 100 a month right now to cover me on theirs)
So.. here is my problem.
I got a speeding ticket in October. I was only given the ticket for going less than 9 mph (even tho I was really going 22 over
)
The trooper also put "No points" on it because he said he didn't want my insurance to go up. The magistrate court also told me nothing would show up under my license.
So, how do I make sure? And if there isn't anything there, do I have to tell them that I got a ticket?
*(Them being the insurance companies)*

....sorry no other way to put it. Your insurance will be incredibly high for the next 3 years or so...If I were you id keep said car in your parents name and stay on thier insurance...of course when your current company looks at your record your parents insureance will go up.....dont assume they already looked. They will look at your parents policy and your parents policy WILL GO UP when they do.
1 year experience behind wheel and 1 speeding ticket in real life = (to the insurance company) 5 speeding tickets in five years driving experience.....Hence the youthful operator is still screwed
Sorry about that.
