Car hire

I've decided I want to get a car for three days of my trip, maybe four, to cover Universal, Seaworld and I drive days.

What will happen when I arrive? Will I have to leave a credit card imprint? If so, what effect will that have on my fairfx card? Will it leave a certain amount of money unusable until I return the car? I'd rather not have to do that.

I'm looking at Alamo at the minute because they will pick me up and drop me back so that's handy. Is there anything extra I need to add? There wasn't an option for gold or anything, just pick a car and go lol.

Is there anywhere else that's cheaper who also drops you off and picks you up? Or at least have a location close to POP or one of the parks, somewhere easy to get to without a car.

Also, if I book it now, will I get everything I need sent to me?

Make sure you book through a UK site and you want the pick up/drop off for Disney's Car Care Centre (for Alamo).

Wagneg is the one with ths sites to try for the best rates but I have used usrentacar.co.uk before. I am not sure is the under 25 surcharges are included in the gold rate.

We booked through virgin holidays before we were 25 as I know there platinum package includes the surcharge.

Definately make sure you take out the full insurance etc.
We was stumped on our first time as oh at the time was under 25 we ended up paying hundreds of dollars! before we even got started..
Always booked with dollar now and take out the full plat insurance now..
