could anyone recommend a car hire company, we have looked at yes car hire which have quoted £321 for 14 nights for a 7 seater. Just wondering if anyone can recommend another company to look at.

Have a look at www.mousesavers.com this lists loads of discount codes for the car hire companies by booking direct with them.

Also, consider buying car insurance in the UK before u go from www.insure4cars.com. Its cheaper than buying from the car rental companies....

We got a Walmart code from Mousesavers and booked through www.alamo.com (the US site, not the UK) declining the extra insurances.

We then bought an annual car insurance policy from www.insurance4carhire.com

Total cost, for 3 weeks, was £260 for a 7 seater (MPV) and £103 for the insurance
