Car hire budget or thirfty

We have always used Dollar for our car hire
but this year we are planning to drop off the car at the port before we go on our cruise

budget or thirfty are the only companys I can find that will let me drop off there

has anyone used either , the price is much the same
are both companys located inside the airport MCO

Hertz have this option too, I just booked our car with them directly (go through quidco or topcashback).
And if you're a VA flying club member you can give a discount number and collect miles.

We've used Budget a few times and never had a problem, never had to que long at MCO either.

We used them a few years ago as we were also returning the car at the port, it was totally painless and you just jump in their mini bus for a few minutes ride to the drop off point at the ship.

I've not used Thrifty, but we used Budget last year and they are on the airport.

Would happily use them again - was very quick and easy to pick the car up.

I thought Thrifty were located off the airport via a shuttle?

Never used them but they are owned by Dollar so should be ok.

Thank you so much for posting this. I've never rented a car in Orlando in the past but decided to go for it this time and yesterday morning I booked our car hire for December....I choose Thrifty as it was slightly cheaper by a few quid but I didn't realise that they are not on site at the airport - it wasn't very clear to me on the usrentacar website. When I saw your post last night I went into panic mode but called up first thing this morning and they changed it to Budget for me with no problems at all - just an extra £3 difference in rental cost!
