Does a Hyundai Elantra really have more trunk space than a Toyota Camry? The Toyota is listed by Alamo as a full size car, the Hyundai as an Intermediate sized car. Currently the full sized Toyota is a few dollars cheaper. But I really do need trunk space. I have the Hyundai booked, should I switch?

Car and Driver says they fit 6 carry-on bags into the trunk of the Camry SE, compared to 5 in the Elantra.

The Camry "L" base model has less cargo space than the rest of the line, and slightly less than the Elantra.

Remember Hyundai is just the example of what type of car you will fine. Don't bet on getting there and finding a Hyundai waiting for you. you may end up with a totally different make. and model car. Last time I did a intermediate there was a Kia Soul that I took as my option. Sometimes there are vans or SUV's parked in that section as well. All depends on what has been returned, serviced and put in the intermediate section.
