Car care center pick up with Magical Express?

I'm thinking about renting a car from the Car Care Center for our 3/30 trip and taking Magical Express from the airport (because I'm getting much better rates off the website) I'd like to get the car on our arrival day (Friday) but my plane arrives at 5:10 at MCO. I assume ME won't drop us at the Car Care Center. We're staying at Coronado for the first two days, then BWV. Do you think we could get the car before the car rental center closes Fri night (is that 8:00?) or should we just wait until the next morning? Has anyone else done this?

I'd wait till the next morning. I don't think DME would drop you off, if they did then everybody would want that service.

when we stay at BWV we rent from the S/D alamo and return it there.

They(Alamo/National) will come get you at your resort. I think you need to call a day ahead.

I've read on these boards that National is closing the Car Care Center location on 1/17. I beleive that Alamo will continue there. There is a National at Dolphin , and in the Wyndham across from Downtown Disney. Please note that the National at the Wyndham does not keep cars there regularly, so you have to have a reservation in order to get a car.

DME is quite strict in dropping people off ONLY at the resort they are registered at and only on their day of check-in, and then picking people up ONLY at the resort where they were registered (on the day of check-out, in the case of a split stay) and only on the day of check-out.
