Our son is 10 and we normally pack a car seat booster for him. What we were wondering is do we still need to take one to Florida?:confused3

We have 3 children (5,7&9) and decided against taking a booster seat for our 9 year old. She is of normal build and was fine without a booster during our recent trip.

We didnt take a booster last year for our 9 years old and he was absolutely fine.

Florida car seat laws are very lax in comparison with uk.

Legally he is fine with just a seatbelt in Florida.

Does he use a booster in uk?

If he is legal in uk without one (think it is 135cm height) then i'd do without in florida.

The hire car we had - crysler, had adjustable seatbelts in the back, could be lowered so fitted a child better.
