Is Capt'n Jack's worth using the ddp or should i pay oop?

I know Cap'n Jack's gets some bad reviews here on the DIS, but we've eaten there twice in the last year (on the DDP both times) and had excellent service and good food. Last Sept we all ordered steaks and the waitress offered us lobster tails as free add ons. My son told her he didn't like lobster and she told him to order since his dad did. She brought it out on a seerate plate and so my ex had two lobster tails with his steak. We also had the tomato appetizer, crab cake appetizers, cheesecake, and a chocolate cake. All were good, waitress was very attentative, and we got a table by the window (which we had requested).

In May I ate lunch there with my mom and aagain had good service and food. We had crabcakes, clam chowder, ribs, a seafood pasta, cheesecake, and key lime pie. We didn't eat near all of it, but it was very good. We again got a table next to the window overlooking the water.

I had the twin Lobster tals and it was very good. I used the DDE card and made it well worth it. Service was good. Wait for table was not to long. The view is excellent if you get a window table. The service was good as well.

We really enjoyed our dinner there last September and will be back this year. The crab cakes were really good as were the lobsters. They also now take ADR's.
