No offense meant. I suppose you are right. I appologize to you for that. There were a lot of people around so the woman didn't have any idea. I'll try to be more careful here with what I posts. I don't want to cause any issues here. Again I appologize to you.

Oh, Rippington, no need to apologize to me. I wasn't directly involved. I'm just relieved to hear that the woman involved knew nothing of it. As unkind as it is, I admit to occasionally privately making fun of someone for poor fashion choices or things like that. Having once weighed over 300# I just can feel that woman's pain. Your friends remark wouldn't be the first or the last time she'll hear that. I just find it so sad that overweight people are the victims of the last socially acceptable form of bigotry. Most overweight people are self conscious and embarassed enough and don't need anyone elses help to feel bad about themselves. Anyway, from what I understand, although you found it funny, you at least had the manners not to be the one making fun. It wasn't you I found offensive, it was the friend's remark. No harm done.
