Caption Needed for Engagement Picture Gone Wrong

They need some common sense as well as a different photographer.

I think the first photo looks awkward and unfortunately you can barely see their faces. They look happy in the second picture but I do agree the pose isn’t great especially since she’s wearing a pretty dress.

Not a great picture, but would definitely not fall under my definition of “gone wrong”. To me, that would be if someone got injured, fell in the water, got pooped on, genitals accidentally exposed, etc.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, besides possibly the lighting, what is wrong with the picture?

Same here. What's wrong with it? Why is everyone always so critical? It looks fine to me.

I mean, other than the actual composition of the shot and the fact that there is a huge, ugly powerline behind it. Not to mention the cut off palm trees. But that's a criticism of the photographer.

There's all that for sure, but the position they are in makes it look like they are going at it. That isn't the impression I would want my engagement photo to give.
The second one is better.
