Captian EO ~ Honey I shrunk....

That said, even with three boys, we are looking forward to the FL expansion. I don't see how that can be viewed as not being an improvement. :confused3 There will be one new headliner attraction, one new coaster, doubling the capacity of a classic attraction and a new facelift to another smaller attraction that our kids love even as they have gotten older.
I just wish Disney would repair, refurbish, upgrade, etc..what is already there BEFORE building something new. I hate seeing broken down rides and empty/abandoned buildings.
EO is completely nonsensical. The only redeeming quality is hearing Michael Jackson say "hooter".

The film was directed by Francis Ford Coppola, the executive producer was George Lucas, produced by Rusty Lemorande.... and was written by all three. Lemorande is considered, the father of 4-D and Captain EO is regarded as one of the first 4-D films. And, of course, Michael Jackson was the star and choreographer.

Did you quote the wrong post?

I've loved getting to see EO again, though I agree it should be a temporary attraction. It was a fun trip down memory lane. I've been to it with packed audiences and with an almost empty theater, just depending on time of the year/day (we're AP holders and FL residents, so go quite a bit).

I don't much care what they replace it with; I just don't want HISTA back again. Ever.

I wasn't a huge fan of HISTA but I'm a EO hater. It has nothing to go with MJ. It was a crappy show, the storyline was lacking, and the effects were cool in the 80's but seriously 30 years later? its just pathetic. Disney can do better and should be ashamed to latch onto 'nostalgia' as an excuse to replay this 80's flick with no updates. And then there was the creature alien thing that was Angelica Houston that scared the snot out of me and terrified my children giving them nightmares (they were 5 and 8 too not toddlers) and making them skittish of other 3D movies. They weren't the only ones crying either. I was surprised it was like that and was totally unprepared for it. Overall for me it's 11 minutes of my life I want back the best thing about EO for me was the pre show at least it wasn't that stupid Kodak commercial with the frog.

I would prefer to see EO pulled and something new put in but I'd be satisfied with some scare warnings for kids.
