I've never been to Captain's Grille at YC and haven't seen much about it. If I can get a few reviews, I would much appreciate it...:)

We've only been there for breakfast, but it's one of our favorite spots for breakfast. They have a menu, which I think my husband might have ordered off of once, but we usually get the buffet. We find the buffet is always well-tended to and offers some variety not found at other spots. Plus there are no characters and a lot of people have no idea it's there since it's in a resort and not a park, so it's often quiet and calm.

We ate there several times when we were there in Nov. (we stayed at the YC) Had breakfast and dinner. Both meals very good. Quiet, good service, not super busy any time we were there.

I would give it a thumb's up!

We eat here for breakfast and lunch often and enjoy it. Not so much for dinner.

we ate there this past September once for dinner. it was one of our favorites. We will be going back! we had really good service, it was not too crowded and the food was delicious. give it a try. you will not be disappointed.

We ate dinner here on 12/26 and breakfast on 12/27 using the DDP. These were our first two meals here and we loved them both and will go back on our next visit.

For dinner hubby and I had the snow crab legs and you got a good portion. Our son had the mahi mahi and he said it was very good, too.

Breakfast here was my 2nd favorite meal for this trip; lovely quiet setting with no characters (Dont get me wrong I love the characters) just a nice place to have a long enjoyable breakfast. We all had the buffet and felt it was one of the best. Hubby said the only thing he missed was the donut holes you get at Crystal Palace otherwise it was just as good or better and much less in cost.

After breakfast we walked over to the Beach Club and went past Cape May; it was crowded and folks were lined up down the hall. We were so glad we chose the Captains Grille as we were not rushed and had great service and great food.

We went there twice during our trip, both times we had the buffet and really enjoyed it. They have a nice variety and really good items (like Mickey waffles!)

If it is peak season, you may have a slight wait for breakfast. The buffet there is one of the best. Also eaten there for lunch and enjoyed the selection.

We have been to breakfast twice and it isnt that great but dinner is very very good...the best pork chop I ever had. Would def eat here again but I wouldnt go out of my way for it...only if I was staying close by

We have gone as a last resort when staying at the Beach Club and been unable to get into Cape May, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Flying Fish or Beaches and Cream.

It is about as vanilla as it gets. The decor is what you would find at any local restaurant and the food, albeit good, is nothing to write home about. There is no "Disney feel" to it at all, which makes it not worth the trip.

I don't see any particular reason to go there if you have other options, especially at Cape May Cafe, by far our favorite resort establishment.

I also wanted to mention breakfast here. It has BOTH buffet and menu selection. This is always great for our family as the big boys go for the buffet and us lighter eaters choose from the menu selection. It is rare to find this set up, so is always a great choice for us when we are staying at the BCV or BWV.

this is our favorite 1TS dinner.

thier new bourbon steak is amazing, and i love the crab legs! they have the best crab cake i've ever had in my life!!

It's the one restaurant I've eaten dinner at over the years (both on the DDP and OOP) that has never failed to satisfy me, it's nothing 'special' as such but good food at not over inflated prices (for Disney that is :goodvibes), I always go for the steak (which I've found equally as good as Yachtsman) or the chicken, nothing special but very yum!

We dined there for lunch this past Aug. It was really good! My DS and I had the lobster roll, which was delicious! My DH had the Fish and Chips, which he said was very good. We were staying at the YC for a few nights, so we decided to have lunch there. I don't think that I would go out of my way to dine there, but when we stay in the Epcot resort area again, we will definitely go back.
