captain jack sightings?

I'm sorry if this was answered before, but my search didn't turn up anything..

Is Captain Jack making any appearences now that the new movie is out and POTC reopened? I need to be prepared for any sightings when we go next month so I don't have a coronary!

There is a Captain Jack look alike that appears outside of POTC at MK several times a day. If you're looking for the real thing, I think you are probably out of luck. Rumors have been flying, but no one has had any definite confirmation.

There is a show in front of POTC multiple times a day. I don't know how long it will be there.

He is a very good look alike..i will try to post a pic tomorrow. A few tmes a day they do "Pirate Training" for the little kids to learn how to be pirates. It's cute...Cap't Jack runs it....what's not to like

I haven't been there since last year and am going back in September, so correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think Capt. Jack is a meet and greet character. I think he just appears in the show and that's it.

I cannot remember were I got this, but somewhere online, I wrote in my planning journal - Capt. Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial - 11:00, 12:20, 1:00, 2:00, 3:40, 5:10, 6:10, it says the show lasts 20 minutes! Hope this helps, we will be there in 8 days and plan on seeing this (perhaps several times )!!!

Yes, that is what I understand..he does the shoe, but no pics or autographs.

When we were at the World of Disney in NYC during 4th of July week. They had pirate training there. I just had to snap a picture of the pirate with my DGD. Note the threatening sword in his hand. I just stood there with Melody and she was so fascinated watching the kids learn their swordplay with the balloons, then they took the pirate oath and finished by saying "ARRRRRGGH"

It is my understanding that the pirate training will only be there for 6 weeks from the movie opening. I am REALLY hoping it is so popular that they extend it out. My boys would LOVE it, and it would be a good break from the princesses. There aren't as many boy characters as there is girl. We will be there the first week of Sept., and if it ends on schedule we will be out of luck.
