Yeah for JD! I was watching the awards & during a commercial did the ol' channel surf & found an HOUR LONG interview they were doing w/JD on Bravo. It was outdated because he was asked about many of his movies, but never PoTC of OIATIM. It was still a thrill to watch though! He seems very shy & sexy at the same time.

Johnny changes his style constantly. I noticed in the previews that his current look seems to fit his latest movie so he may have changed it again by now.

I'm glad to see that he won an award from SAG. He probably didn't show because he never expected to win. I see that LOTR and Keifer Sutherland also won. I wished that I'd watched the SAG show now.

Not to take anything away from all the nominees, because they are all good actors, but when you look at character development, Johnny really did the best job with Captain Jack Sparrow. How many people who have seen the movie will ever hear the word "pirate" and not think of him?

I think comedies are overlooked a lot of times because they are comedies. As Bill Mrray has said "People,in general, are a lot closer to crying than laughing". Unfortunately, it's usually a big drama that will win the awards.

I turned it on right after Sex and the City. I was so pleased to see him win. I wonder where he was? Hope he is there on Oscar night.

Funny thing was he was there when Sean Penn won at the Golden Globes, Sean was not

and Sean was there last night when Johnny won and Johnny was NOT!

Depp is the movie. Without him, POTC will just be a regular flick. He made it very very special.

Loved him.
