Ladies set me straight because from a male perspective, I don't get it...

What is up with the Captain Jack swooning that I see all over the disboards? The only reason he should make you weak at the knees is due to how fast you need to run away from him. I guarantee that if you saw someone that looks like him walking down the street(dressed in normal clothes) of any major city, that you would hightail it to the other side of the street as fast as you could in order to avoid him and then proceed to tell everyone you know about how you saw this disgusting guy who looked like he belongs in jail.

Fess up or flame away. I want the truth!

Umm...if I saw someone walking down the street in normal clothes who looked like Captain Jack--I would assume that it was Johnny Depp. And then I'd really swoon!

Well, you can see from my Sig, that yes, I love Capt Jack. Before the movies, if I saw someone look like that on the street, yeah, probably I'd avoid him. Now, I'll talk to him. I've got a friend who is a great Captain Jack impersonator so I'm always checking out the others to try and compare the two.

As for Johnny Depp....those eyes, those cheekbones, that smirk....
