Ahoy, mateys!
This here be Captain Jack Sparrow's August Ship Shape Exercise Challenge!
In keeping with the Pirate Code, I've, ah, 'borrowed' the rules from last month's host, glss1/2fll!
The challenge is on. And it's a challenge by you for you! Challenge yourself to do "x" number of minutes of exercise this month and then get moving!
We're here to cheer you on!
Summer is here, so let's make some exercise fireworks! 
Did you know that a goal of 1800 min for the month is just 60 min a day of activity?
A goal of 900 min is 30 min of activity per day!
A goal of 1440 is 24 hours of exercise--a whole day!
How the challenge works:
Post your personal goal for June (xxxx minutes of exercise) and then post updates as frequently as you like. Progress will be tracked here.
Please post your update total at the top of your post.
You are also welcome to share your activity as well.
EXAMPLE:
301/1800
45 min running.
As you reach milestones for the month, your name and total will change color in this post.
At 10%, you'll be maroon
When you reach 25%, you'll be deep sea green
When you reach 50%, you'll be purple
When you reach 75%, you'll be blue
At 90%, you'll be red (because you are on fire!)
When you hit 100%, you'll be WISH green!
Some quick tips:
Running burns just as many calories as walking, don't feel you need to run if you want to walk instead.
A good way to get the blood pumping is to pretend you're stranded on an island. Jump up and down waving your hands in the air yelling "SAVE ME!" My first mate thought he'd be funny and call them Jumping Jacks....
If you really want to burn calories, make sure that whatever it is you do is at least 10 minutes in duration, anything less won't burn anything.
MOST IMPORTANT: HAVE FUN.
