Cap'n Jack's August Exercise Challenge, come join the crew!

sorry I haven't been here to update lately, we're getting ready to go to WDW. I'll be doing an update much later tonight, and then the next update will be upon my triumphant return next Wednesday, or possibly Thursday depending on rum consumption.
 

SO, I see everyone is doing well, everyone has checked in, and we have TWO crewmen I'd like to draw special attention to for hitting 50% of their targets already, maincooncat and bangzoom6877. Almost everyone else has hit 25%, and as a result I had to change the color from pink to sea green. Seriously, I was going blind from seeing that much pink on the first post. I really should choose my colors more wisely.

I am off! I shall return post haste next Wednesday, or possibly Thursday, depending on the trade winds and the rum supply. Mr. Gibbs! A rowboat, if you please....

Thanks for the shout out! I'm happy to be back in the swing of things. We got home on August 3rd from a 16-night road trip that included 10 nights at WDW! I didn't work out at all on vacation, but of course we did a ton of walking. Still, I missed lifting weights. I was just so wiped out from the heat on the trip and although I packed resistance bands, this time I didn't use them at all. Usually I do when on vacation. The heat was more intense this time than it usually is in July and I was exhausted every afternoon. This thread is very encouraging, and a great way to keep track of my monthly exercise minutes. I've never done that before. I have always written down everything I eat and all my workouts on a daily basis to keep track, but I've never totaled up the minutes on a monthly basis. I never realized how much I do within a few weeks! :)
 
8/12..3.3 mile run in 45 minutes and 15 minutes ab work
8/14..4.25 mile run/walk in 56 minutes, 15 minutes ab work and T25 today

Tomorrow is the 15th! I'm going to try to make the 50% mark with a 5 mile run and T25!

I'm at 140/800 Tuesday did 10 minutes on exercise bike and today 15 more on it. :) Getting a slow start. :crazy2: Had to work on routine for homeschooling dd. Its still in progress but we are getting it down but some days we start and work later. Yesterday was quite productive. I got housework done while she had reading portions. It worked out. Hoping she will start to get a routine and need a bit less hovering.
 
I'm up to 550/900 now,

this week was another 170 minutes of mainly doing workout DVDs, some weekend travel brought my average below 30/day but the rest of the month should be more productive
