One of my friends sent me the first link below. I read the story and then looked around at the website. Is this a "for real" site or something like the "Onion"? The stories don't sound like the Onion, but that doesn't help me much.

Capitol Hill Blues is a "real" paper. However, if I wrote stories entirely made up of unnamed sources, my editor would kill me. Apparently that is encouraged at this paper.

Basically, a good comparasion would be the Enquirer, but for DC instead of Hollywood.

it's not like the onion in that they are reporting the stories seriously. whether or not what they report is true or not, though...

dr. justin frank is a real person. he really did write that book, and he really is employed at the gwu medical center.

Ok, I know I'm among the most ardent Bush-bashers on the board, but even I don't think he's actually nuts Ordinarily, Capitol Hill Blue is a fairly normal paper, with an extreme liberal lean. But the other poster is right, this smacks more of the National Enquirer than it does the Washington Post.
