Cape May price increase!! Yikes

They have Chef Mickeys at 35.99 as well. I bet every single buffet went up!! Maybe the 35.99 is during the seasonal dining crap.

I agree dining prices are becoming CRAZY!!! I ate at Cape May on Dec 29 and the waitress said that they were going to be changing the menu some, has anyone noticed a change. I wasn't on the dining plan, but used the TIW card.

We recently, as in during the last two years, found and fell in love with Cape May Cafe - but charging as much for the buffet without characters as breakfast in the Castle with the princesses seems a bit unreasonable IMO.

You know. These prices are out of control. These buffets, although good, are not worth $36. Add seasonal pricing to that and you're above4 $40 for a mediocore buffet. I can go to Fogo de Chao for just about that same price and get a meal that is 100 times better. There has to be a point when people stop paying.

Wow, these are crazy prices! Can anyone verify the increases at CM and Boma?

I just went to WDW website to check, and sure enough, Ohana is now $35.99.

Oghh, I just wonder how much the breakfastes have gone up? 36 bucks for Chef Mickeys, or any of the buffets, :lmao:not in my lifetime!!

I am seeing a range of $15-$35.99, which applies to every restaurant in the "$$" category. Are you seeing something on the site that specifically says dinner is $35.99?

Wow, Boma at $36! I won't be drinking this trip so that'll save me $8 right off the top. But still!!

We ate dinner at Boma on Jan 5 and the price was lilke 27 or 28 on Jan 7 we ate at Cape May and the price was higher like 36 so I guess I was at Cape May for the price increase but was ok for Boma. We were told Cape May went up because of the crab legs, so I guess that was not true since all of the buffets went up. Cape May and Boma were regulars for us, but not any more at that price.

I just checked the DIsney web site and it lists breakfast at Boma at 35.99. I think we paid 18.00 on Jan 4:eek::eek:, that is really an extreme jump in prices. Cape May Buffet with characters is listed as the same 35.99. But WOW what a jump for Boma. I may not bother with the TIW card and may be eating at less expensive restaurants and in my room.

This makes me wonder about all the restaurants in WDW even the counter service places. Yikes, where does it end?

Breakfast is not 35.99. No way.:scared1::rotfl: Maybe dinner. I just wonder though if the breakfast prices have gone up some as well.
