I am having trouble figuring out where we should eat breakfast. Where would you eat and why? Thanks in advance for your help!

I enjoyed Cape May because it was not so crowded or noisy and the food was better.

My vote is for Cape May. The food was fabulous. Everything you could ever want and more. The fruit salad section in itself was awesome! We think it was our best meal in WDW. The characters were very attentive and the room was quiet. We will return again this upcoming trip.

As far as Donald's goes, I have only read not so great things about it. I have heard it is crowded and there is little character attention.

Check out The Dis for the restaraunt ratings....that may help you out some more.

Good luck!

I can't speak for Cape May, as we didn't try it. However, we were very happy with Donald's - one of the best breakfasts we had. We had a 9:50 seating and food was plentiful, hot and fresh! A nice spread in our opinion!

Donald's is a must-do for us every trip - we love it there. It's a fun, casual atmosphere that my boys just love. So do DH and I for that matter!!

This trip we'll also be trying the Cape May breakfast. I've read so many positive reviews of this one, so I'm excited about giving it a try.

I'll post a dining review when we return.

We ate at the Princess Storybook breakfast last Monday and at Donald's on Tuesday. Even DD(9) preferred Donald's although I had made the PS b/c my DS (7) wanted to eat with Donald...felt I owed him that after eating with the Princesses. Donald's had an extensive buffet to suit most any taste....eggs, sausage gravy, biscuit, quiche, breakfast pizza, hashbrown, fancy hashbrowns, pancakes, waffles, fruit, cereal, Krispy Kreme do-nuts, pudding, etc. The atmosphere was very fun...colors and dino newspapers for the kids, the character attention was good and the waiters/waitresses were very fun!! DH was much more impressed with this breakfast. We arrived at 9:40 in the rain and were seated before our 9:50 PS. Our waitress encouraged us to take our time...not rushed at all....we will definitely do this again and will skip the Princess Storybook.

We have eaten at Donald's on several trips & enjoyed it every time. We like to do EMH at AK & then have a late breakfast at Donald's, then we can skip lunch, too. The food has always been very good & the characters here are always great, too!

We really love Cape May for dinner & eat here every trip, too. Because I've heard so many good reviews for the character breakfast here -we will be doing both this September. I don't think you can go wrong with either. Enjoy! :teeth:
