Cape May Clam Bake

Do they have calamari? I thought I saw it in a PP's pics.

Calamari is one of the items included on the buffet on a rotating basis. We had the calamari on a Thursday night. Here is some info that was posted by Beach Club CM on another thread, sometime in the spring, I think:

Cape May has added some new items at their dinner buffet. All the oldies are still there but these new items have been added:

Carved Roasted Pork Loin in addition to the carved Top Beef Sirloin / Citrus Couscous Salad / Chicken Arugula Pasta Salad / Tomato Cucumber Mozzarella Salad / Quinoa Shrimp Salad with Hearts of Palm / Green Mussels with Spicy Seaweed Salad / Sautéed Beef Tips with a Gourmet Brandy Cream Sauce / Tortellini with Lobster Sauce / Seafood Pot Pie / Hand-Battered Fried Tilapia or Cod (Sundays and Fridays) / Fried Calamari (Tuesdays and Thursdays) / Fried Shrimp (Mondays Wednesdays and Saturdays) and Kids Fish Nuggets.

The Snow Crab Legs are still on the menu also!!!!

My kids and dh love seafood but I don't so I was really worried about going here. I read their menu on allears and looks like their is plenty of variety. We go in Sept and can't wait to try it!

I am a Hard Core Foodie. The salads and desserts are quite exceptional. The seafood is good, but not great. The non-seafood is average for a buffet, nothing remarkable.

Has anyone ate at Cape May Clam Bake lately? How was it? We have a reservation 1nt of our vacation and reading allears reviews is making me uncertain if I want to keep it or not.

We have chosen Cape May for our 1st night as well. It was DH's choice and I was skeptical but not with these reviews and pictures.

Wow, thanks for all the great reviews. I am a bit suspicious of a seafood buffet. Based on all the great reviews I am going to give it a shot next trip!
