Cape may Clam Bake - opinions please!

Ate there once would never ever go back. Fish and buffet are 2 words that should never appear in the same sentence. If you are looking for good fish walk around the lake and got to flying fish. Your money (although more of it) will be better spent.

Our family loves it. It is the only non-breakfast buffet we have ever eaten at WDW (or anywhere else ;) ). DH does not like seafood and he always has plenty to eat. Our oldest son eat tons of clams and mussels. You can get pitchers of beer. The kids can color on the paper they put on the tables. It's a fun place. :goodvibes

DH and I did Cape May in Dec. It wasn't bad but DH doesn't want to go back. He said the clams didn't have any flavor and he wasn't that impressed. The chicken and ribs were good and I enjoyed the fried tilapia and I hate fish. However, nothing really struck us as standing out that we wanted to go back for. There are kids foods on a smaller bar like mac and cheese which was so cheesy you could see the strings when you picked it up to put on your plate. I say try it once just for the experience. Our server was wonderful and the atmosphere is nice. The food just wasn't outstanding but it was good.
