I am starting to have a panic attack abot our ADR for Cape May. We are eating dinner there. It was recommended by a friend. Now I am wondering ,I have looked at the menu, is there enough to eat for non seafood eaters????? Do I need to scramble and change the ADR for somewhere else? Tell me what you think! THANK YOU

Absolutely! :thumbsup2

My family and I ate there a month ago, and none of us are big seafood eaters. We found plenty to eat, and it was all very tasty.

I'd keep the ADR and try it for yourself...you'll never know if you like it unless you try it! :)

I am a non seafood girl and I love the place...here is what I remember is on the buffet:

littlenecks and mussels in plain butter and taragon butter
clam chowder
tomato bisque
boiled red potatoes
boiled corn on the cob
Fried talapia in April, Salmon in Feb
french fries
fresh green beans with carrots
baked ziti
sausage peppers and onions
roasted chicken
BBQ ribs
BBQ beef with mushrooms
broccolini
mashed potatoes
mini hot dogs
mac and cheese
chicken fingers
corn bread
all types of bread and rolls
carved beef
salad with all the fixings
caesar salad with all the fixings
cole slaw
potato salad
peel and eat shrimp
ambrosia
marinated mushrooms
cuke salad
tomato salad
watermelon, honeydew and cantelope
Oreo Bon Bons
mini key lime tarts, cheesecakes and german chocolate cake
peanut butter chip brownies and blondies
apple cobbler
chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, oatmeal cookies
flan
a strawberry jello cream thing

The food there is very good!

Can you please help a rookie and tell me about the Cape May Clambake? The menu sounds wonderful.

:goodvibes I am looking forward to the Clam Bake dinner here. It will be our first time here and we love seafood - funny, -before I was in my 20s I detested it !

There is plenty for non-seafood eaters!

Keep your ADR and enjoy. I haven't been in awhile but I used to think they had the best desserts for a buffet.

Thank you all! We leave in 2 weeks and I am so excited! I am reassured that it will be ok, NO GREAT!

Thanks again.

It's at the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort. It's a nice place to visit on an Epcot day. You can walk out the International Gateway and be at the Cape May Cafe within 10 minutes.

We went in Sept. and LOVED it!!!!! DS7 has requested it again for Feb. - there is as others have stated plenty for non-seafood lovers!! DS loves the mussels! Enjoy - it's a nice dinner buffet!

Nobody in my family ever even touches the seafood side (we don't care for seafood). We always find PLENTY to choose from on the other 3 sides of the buffet! :)

My DH really wanted to eat here so we did. I eat seafood but was not in the mood that night for the seafood they had. Everything I had here was delicious.

We have been there before and are going back in Oct. It's closer to a regular buffet than a "clambake". It's just that there are clams in the shell along with mussels and some other seafood. The food is set up in typical buffet tables. Really only one side is all seafood. Another side is salad, chowder, etc. and another side is completely non-seafood. The BBQ and carved beef should keep a non-seafood eater satisfied. The decor is nice and if you are not staying there it is a nice visit to Y+BC.

My husband loved the seafood but I didn't eat any and found that there was plenty of other choices. My family loved the desserts at Cape May...we even joked about how we can bring the chef home as a "souvenir".

We went in Nov.2006 and plan on going there again in Feb.2008.

We always eat at the Cape - after dinner we walk or waddle over to the Boardwalk to play a few games and watch the street performers. We always enjoy our evening. Can't wait for our Aug. 26 dinner.

Thanks for the reviews. This is one of those ressies I keep questioning.

We are there in Sept. for my parents 45th wedding anniversary. I am the disney addict and making all the plans. (Which also means that anything :sad2:that goes wrong is all my fault, right?:lmao: )

I have wanted to bring Dad here for awhile. He loves seafood and buffets are right up his alley! I think there is enough variety here to satisfy everyone though.

Thanks again for the help!!!! I can not wait to go now!!! 13 more days till we leave for the WORLD!!!!

I'm really happy to read all the good reviews of Cape May. We will have dinner there for the first time on August 29th - :cool1:
