Hi all! We are interested in trying the Cape May character breakky. Can you tell me about the food, atmosphere, characters, kid friendly? Can it be compared to any other char breakky? Thanks! S

We have been to the character breakfast there twice. They have a nice buffet and the characters come around frequently. My two girls love it there. The characters dress in bathing suits (beach theme) and consist usually of Chip & Dale, Goofy, Pluto and Minnie. Minnie doesn't circulate you have to go to the front of the restaurant to see her.

We were there Sat and it was good. The reason I picked it for DH and I was because it was supposed to be quieter than a lot of the other charactor b-fasts. It was. Not so quiet you could hear a pin drop, but none of the kids were screaming or running around, no songs being sung, and the charactors honestly seemed bored. That, though, is a good thing. They came around many times. If we were eating, they would wave and go on. If we were drinking coffee or getting ready to go back to the buffet, they would come to the table. Nice interaction, not pushy or hurried. Most of the food was good. I had a mickey waffle, bacon, egg/cheese/broccoli cassorole (to die for!!!), potatoes and buiscuts and gravey. The gravey and potatoes were bland, though. Everything else was really good.
